Album Summary

“1 Billion Views,” EXO-SC’s first studio album was released on July 13th, 2020. “1 Billion Views” was released and distributed by SM Entertainment worldwide and distributed by Dreamus and Alliance Entertainment. The first studio album was released and distributed on multiple digital music streaming applications: YouTube, iTunes, Spotify, QQ Music, MelOn, Genie, and Naver. On June 23rd, the album’s title “1 Billion Views” and release date were announced along with a teaser image of the digital cover. Throughout the month of July promotions for the album continued; album tracklist and schedule, series of teaser images of the sub-unit individually and as a unit, and solo music video teasers. Notably, members Sehun and Chanyeol composed the tracks “Telephone,” “Fly Away,” and “On Me” while also writing the lyrics for all tracks on the studio album.

  • “1 Billion Views” earned the peak position of #1 on Gaon’s South Korean Albums Chart
  • “1 Billion Views” earned the peak position of #16 on Billboard Japan’s Hot Albums Chart
  • “1 Billion Views” earned the peak position of #10 on Oricon’s Japanese Albums Chart
  • “1 Billion Views” earned the peak position of #22 on ZPAV’s Polish Albums Chart 
  • “1 Billion Views” earned the peak position of #65 on OCC’s UK Digital Albums Chart
